Last month, the agents at Parkway Real Estate had an opportunity to view Oak Row apartments located on the VFW Parkway in West Roxbury. This brand-new building has ____ spacious units and fantastic amenities that we know our clients will love.
Let us detail some of them out for you and see if this could be a good spot for you and your lifestyle! We love that there are many different unit sizes and configurations to fit all kinds of renters.
Here are the top reasons we would love to help you rent at Oak Row:
The lobby is bright, colorful, and spacious! Walking in gave us a great feel. Within the lobby there are mail cubbies and package lockers, in addition to a neat info screen detailing traffic, weather, and more (see parking & transportation for further details).
A community room is located on the main floor. There is a full-size fridge and stove/sink set up for anyone to use. There are plenty of tables and chairs along with pool tables and other table games. A nice fire separates the room for when it’s busy with Community members. Renters have the ability to sign out the room and use it privately as well. This is an awesome feature if you are planning some sort of event that won’t fit in your own apartment.
A gym is also located on the ground floor. It is spacious and well equipped with dark and modern decor. We visited on a Tuesday evening and didn’t see many people utilizing the equipment at the time. We have been told that it is generally busy but never crowded. Our favorite aspect of the gym was the TRX suspension system
If you work from home like many do, Oak Row has conference and meeting rooms for you to utilize. This is a great way to change your surroundings and boost efficiency! One floor has two dedicated office space rooms, in addition to a large co-op workspace and meeting room. Think of it as an extension of your own apartment, perfect for making a private phone call or have a few guests in for a meeting. In the shared space, it is a very café like set up with booths and sink station where you could grab yourself a cup of Joe and get comfy while working.
It is clear that Oak Row is very family friendly as they have one floor with dedicated, colorful, and spacious play space for younger children and a game room that is geared more towards teenagers on another floor. In this older kid space, there is a PlayStation set up, board games to be borrowed, and a Foosball table. Both spaces are lots of fun and a great way for kids to mingle with others in a safe spot.
There is plenty of parking at Oak Row. Outdoor spots are $50 a month and indoor spots are $100 per month. If you don’t have a car, Oak Row is a commuter friendly building, providing rides for their residents to the local MBTA Commuter rail stop off Lagrange Street.
Oh yeah, the apartments. This is important since this is where you will sleep, but as you can see there are so many great aspects to this building besides your abode. Units are spacious, modern, and comfy. Washer and dryers are in-units. There are various layouts and number of bedrooms per apartments available.
